Dates for the Diary!
Our main focus is to secure the kind of support that will be necessary to ensure that Youth In Need can continue to deliver it's services in the long term.
We are progressing applications for a number of grants that will provide us with funds to secure the future of the project through to the long term. We are consistently looking for new opportunities for funding and continue to present proposals to various grant-making organisations as these opportunities arise.
In addition, we are looking to our friends in commerce and industry for their support too. We already have a number of potential corporate sponsors lined up and hope to be able to report some good news soon.
In the meantime, we will be doing a number of Car Boot Sales and other fundraising events (maybe even some more skydiving!) over the next few months.
Obviously, we have cleared our own attics, sheds and garages of all those things that we simply don't need, but we could always do with more items to sell at these Car Boots.
Now's the time when many people are doing some spring cleaning and throw out a lot of things that we could make use of. So, if you have anything that you were going to throw away, please do think about donating your unwanted bits and bobs to us!
